Mejuri marks its Middle East debut with first store in Kuwait

The fine-jewellery brand selects Kuwait for its regional debut as it begins expanding into the Middle East. The Avenues store reflects Mejuri’s standard open-display retail format.
Kuwait: Mejuri has opened its first store in the Middle East, choosing Kuwait as the brand’s regional starting point. The new store is located at The Avenues and marks an important step in the company’s expansion plans after ten years in business.
The launch was led by CEO and Co-Founder Noura Sakkijha. Mejuri, known for its modern and minimal fine jewellery, has built a global presence with stores in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. The decision to enter Kuwait was influenced by steady customer demand from the region and the brand’s growing online community.
The Kuwait store follows Mejuri’s standard retail format, which focuses on open displays instead of traditional closed counters. Customers can view and try jewellery directly, reflecting the brand’s approach of making fine jewellery accessible for everyday wear. The store carries Mejuri’s full range, including sterling-silver pieces, 14k-gold designs, diamond jewellery and lab-grown stone options.
Sakkijha comes from a family of jewellers and has often spoken about the brand’s goal of offering fine jewellery in a simple and approachable way. Mejuri’s growth has been supported by customers who prefer buying jewellery for themselves rather than waiting for special occasions — an idea that has helped the brand develop a large following across different markets.
The Kuwait opening has been made possible through a partnership with Alyasra Group. For Mejuri, the new store is the first step in a planned regional rollout. The brand expects to explore additional locations across the GCC based on demand and customer response.
