21 global jewellery houses make fifth edition of Dubai Jewelry Fashion Week Autumn 2024 a success

Themed ‘beauty and innovation’, this year’s showcase saw more than 1,500 attendees and turned out to be a high-profile confluence of jewellery, fashion and innovation. All eyes are now on the Spring 2025 edition of the show, scheduled for February 2025

Dubai: The fifth edition of Dubai Jewelry Fashion Week Autumn 2024 held at The Agenda Dubai, emerged as a landmark event, celebrating artistry and innovation in high jewellery and couture fashion. With over 1,500 attendees, the event drew prominent personalities, including H.H. Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum and H.E. Yaqoob Al Ali, alongside global industry leaders, celebrities and influencers.

With the theme ‘beauty and innovation’, this year’s showcase featured 21 distinguished jewellery houses, including Iram Jewelry, LRS Diamonds, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Monte Carlo Diamonds and many more, and a carefully curated selection of couture designers, offering a captivating fusion of craftsmanship and fashion excellence.

The event opened with a Hollywood-inspired red carpet, setting a tone of grandeur. Guests, adhering to a red, black, and white dress code, walked amidst flashing cameras, generating substantial engagement on social media platforms. Iram Jewelry x Soha Murad were the grand opening showstoppers.

Inside the venue, the runway transformed into a canvas for jewellery innovation. Each presentation highlighted intricate craftsmanship, with standout pieces like Persiana Dulo by Renodia’s masterpiece, showcasing a 25-carat Fancy Vivid Blue Moval diamond, paired with an 8-carat Vivid Yellow Round diamond and 53 carats of D White Round diamonds.

The event underlined the synergy between jewellery houses and couture designers, emphasizing the complementary nature of these art forms. In parallel, couture collections amplified the elegance of the showcased jewellery. Designers such as Marjan Kalhor Couture, Rosa Addabbo Couture, The Gem and others unveiled ensembles that paired seamlessly with the jewellery designs, culminating in Svetlana Anokhina’s children’s collection as the grand finale.

Entertainment complemented the visual showcase, with an entrancing dance performance by Lea Herland, embodying the event’s theme of “beauty and innovation”. The backstage area replicated Hollywood’s golden age, providing an immersive setting for creative expression and collaboration.

Dubai Jewelry Fashion Week Autumn 2024 turned out to be a confluence of visionaries redefining the standards of excellence in jewellery and couture. With Autumn 2024 setting a high benchmark, all eyes are now on the Spring 2025 edition, scheduled for February 2025.
