USA: Gabrielle Greiss unveils the inaugural jewellery line, embodying elements of romance, metaphor, and magic as anticipated. Composed primarily of bronze, a narrative thread runs through the premier collection titled Fables Etcetera. This narrative entwines allusions to Aesop and La Fontaine with pronounced, oversized design elements.

A playful manipulation of proportions characterizes the jewellery, featuring fantastical and realistic motifs suspended from hefty chain links. Among these motifs are cats, donkeys, and mice. Sensual earrings depict birds frozen in mid-flight, gently brushing the wearer’s shoulder. Rings and bracelets carve undulating contours around wrists and fingers.

For Greiss, the jewellery launch signifies the organic culmination of a career trajectory that commenced in the 90s at London’s Central Saint Martins. Her distinctive dreamy yet punkish aesthetic emerged during this period. Following collaborations with Martine Sitbon in Paris, Greiss brought her unconventional style to Sonia Rykiel. Later, she solidified her reputation during her tenure at Chloé alongside Albert Elbaz.
