Dubai designer Beenish Mahmood invited to exhibit at Precious Room by Muriel Piaser

Her namesake brand features designs inspired by the stories of Shahrazad in One Thousand and One Nights

Dubai: Jewellery designer Beenish Mahmood is slated to exhibit her latest jewellery ranges at the prestigious Precious Room by Muriel Piaser. The event, scheduled from June 25-26 at Palais Vivienne in Paris during Haute Couture & Haute Joaillerie Week, promises an unforgettable showcase of creativity and craftsmanship.

Reflecting on her invitation, Beenish expressed her excitement, stating, “I am honored to be exhibiting at Precious Room by Muriel Piaser. Come join me for an unforgettable showcase of creativity and craftsmanship in the heart of this beautiful city!”

In addition to showcasing Beenish Mahmood, the Precious Room by Muriel Piaser will host numerous other distinguished designers, presenting an array of exquisite jewellery that embodies the pinnacle of luxury and creativity. This prestigious event underscores the timeless allure of fine jewellery and the endless creativity of its artisans, making it a highlight of Haute Couture & Haute Joaillerie Week.

Beenish Mahmood’s upbringing in various cultural settings, from colonial homes in Pakistan to Middle Eastern palaces and European apartments, has instilled in her a unique aesthetic sensibility. She pursued her formal education at The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, closely linked with L’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.  During her final year, she pivoted towards jewellery design.

Her namesake brand features designs inspired by the stories of Shahrazad in One Thousand and One Nights—a meticulously illustrated early edition of which was a cherished gift from her father. Beenish, also a poet, weaves tangible tales through her jewellery, drawing on her rich Eastern heritage and employing techniques such as marquetry, mosaic, and enamel alongside hand-carved gemstones. Her debut collection evolved from a poem she wrote for her son titled “The Secret Garden,” a tribute to life’s perpetual cycle of creation, farewells, and rebirth.

The Precious Room exhibition will also feature the Celestial Dance Earrings, bold pieces that highlight her artistry. These earrings feature radiant diamonds, rubies, and sapphires swirling around a captivating Mabè Pearl set in textured yellow gold, exemplifying the boldness and emotional depth characteristic of Beenish’s designs.

In addition to showcasing Beenish Mahmood, the Precious Room by Muriel Piaser will host numerous other distinguished designers, making it a highlight of Haute Couture & Haute Joaillerie Week.
