Istanbul: Swarovski has unveiled its latest WonderLux pop-up boutique at Istanbul airport, continuing its global rollout of the innovative retail concept designed by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert. The boutique, launched in collaboration with Unifree Duty Free and Gebr. Heinemann showcases Swarovski’s commitment to redefining the travel retail experience.
The six-month pop-up installation, located in one of the airport’s high-traffic zones, is adorned in Swarovski’s vibrant yellow House colour, a striking backdrop that enhances the brilliance of the brand’s crystal creations. The boutique offers a luxurious and immersive shopping environment, blending Swarovski’s signature aesthetic with the dynamic character of Istanbul Airport.

The boutique features an extensive range of Swarovski’s jewellery collections, including the popular Millenia and Matrix collections, alongside home décor, watches, and accessories.
The WonderLux retail concept is central to Swarovski’s store refurbishment programme, which aims to create cohesive and vibrant brand experiences globally. Each boutique is designed in one of Swarovski’s signature House colours, reflecting the brand’s bold and contemporary vision.
Andreea Marginean, Swarovski’s Head of Global Travel Retail, emphasized the brand’s dedication to customer-centricity, saying, “Our collaboration with Unifree Duty Free and Gebr. Heinemann reflects our shared passion for retail excellence. This pop-up invites travellers into an exclusive space that seamlessly integrates Swarovski’s identity with the unique ambiance of Istanbul Airport. Visitors can explore our jewellery and eyewear collections, try on pieces, and discover new styling possibilities, all while enjoying a memorable and elevated shopping experience.”

The project is a testament to Swarovski’s strategic partnerships in travel retail.
