Dubai: Suzanne Code Jewellery opened its first flagship store in Dubai Mall, marking its entry into the UAE market. The contemporary high jewellery brand, known for its use of lab-grown diamonds and minimalist design approach, is expanding following the successful launch of its European boutique in 2020.
The new boutique, located on the Fountain Views BLVD side of Dubai Mall, offers customers an opportunity to explore Suzanne Code’s collections, which are crafted with sustainable diamonds and a design philosophy that prioritises minimal metal usage for enhanced brilliance. The brand has gained recognition for its commitment to innovation in high jewellery, incorporating both human craftsmanship and advanced technology to create pieces that balance aesthetics and functionality.
Suzanne Code’s designs are worn by global celebrities such as Rihanna, Heidi Klum, Amanda Seyfried, Valery Kaufman, and Shanina Shaik. The brand’s expansion into Dubai is aimed at catering to a discerning clientele in a region known for its appreciation of luxury jewellery. The new store offers an extensive range of jewellery, including rings, earrings, cuffs, necklaces, chokers, bracelets, diamond gloves, and bridal collections. Additionally, the brand introduces seasonal collections inspired by cultural traditions and contemporary lifestyle trends.
A key aspect of Suzanne Code’s design philosophy is the exclusivity of its collections, with each piece either made as a single item or in strictly limited editions. The brand’s jewellery is produced in Europe by specialist artisans, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Alongside its lab-grown diamond offerings, Suzanne Code also works with natural diamonds and rare stones, including pink and yellow diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and paraiba tourmalines.
Lab-grown diamonds, which are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, form a core part of Suzanne Code’s sustainable approach. The brand’s decision to incorporate these stones aligns with broader industry trends towards ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.
Founder and Chief Designer Suzanne Voit stated that the Dubai store opening is a significant step for the brand. She emphasised that jewellery should not only be reserved for milestone occasions but should also offer a sense of individuality and daily wearability. According to Voit, the brand’s approach respects traditiona craftsmanship
while integrating modern technology to create jewellery that reflects the future of the industry.
