The event engaged women through an interactive format to preview the brand’s new collection, and involved real-time consumer feedback, product trials and practical styling tips tailored for the upcoming festive season. For Meralda Jewels, it became a direct brand-building opportunity

Dubai: Meralda Jewels recently partnered with Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) – UAE’s largest community of Indian expat women – to host a festive preview and jewellery styling workshop in Dubai, bringing together a large number of women to engage directly with the brand’s new festive collection. Held in a closed-door, experiential format, the event offered Meralda Jewels an opportunity to connect with consumers in an interactive setting ahead of the festive season.

The evening began with an exclusive preview of the brand’s latest collection, designed to cater to festive jewellery preferences across a range of occasions. Through this preview, Meralda Jewels introduced statement necklaces, earrings and everyday wearables that reflect the brand’s approach to accessible yet thoughtful design.

The jewellery styling workshop that followed was a key feature of the evening, curated by Meralda Jewels to educate and engage attendees on how to wear and style different jewellery types. Experts demonstrated techniques such as layering, combining textures, and selecting pieces based on face shape and outfit styles. The session was designed to be hands-on, giving guests the chance to try the jewellery and understand how it could be adapted to their individual wardrobes and festive plans.

For Meralda Jewels, this format served as a direct brand-building opportunity. The event enabled real-time product feedback and consumer insights that will be valuable for future product development and positioning. It also helped reinforce the brand’s positioning as a design-led label that values functionality and style in equal measure.

The collaboration with IWD aligned with Meralda Jewels’ broader objective of reaching niche customer groups through curated experiences rather than conventional retail events. By placing jewellery in a lifestyle context, the brand was able to highlight the emotional and functional aspects of its collection in a way that resonated with the audience.

The response from attendees underscored the relevance of such initiatives, especially in the lead-up to the festive season, when consumer interest in jewellery peaks. Many guests shared styling ideas, interacted with the design team, and explored pieces in a relaxed yet informative environment. The event also strengthened the recall value of Meralda Jewels among an engaged and style-conscious audience.

As the brand continues to explore interactive formats for customer engagement, initiatives like the IWD x Meralda Jewels workshop demonstrate the value of pairing product showcases with knowledge-sharing. For Meralda Jewels, this event was not only a collection preview but a strategic exercise in positioning the brand at the intersection of design, education and community.

Abdul Jaleel Edathil launched Meralda Jewels in 2018. The brand currently operates six stores – three located at Kozhikode, Kochi and Kannur in Kerala, one in Karnataka’s Mangaluru, and two in Dubai.
