Kismet by Milka lauds ‘Graduating Class of 2026’ in partnership with Bahrain Jewellery Centre

The brand also highlighted luxury gifting options from its jewellery collections to mark academic milestones
Manama: Turkish fine jewellery brand Kismet by Milka recently partnered with premier luxury retailer Bahrain Jewellery Centre to host an event to recognize its first ‘Graduating Class of 2026’, comprising young women from across Bahrain who had achieved the academic milestone.
The event – aimed at connecting jewellery with life’s milestones – was held in a poolside setting, and brought together the brave young women along with their mothers, who had supported them every step of the way. It included a piercing bar with ear styling sessions and special ‘Mother & Daughter’ photo moments at the venue, in a celebration of achievement, love and new beginnings. Rather than focusing on a single specific school, the event was designed as an inclusive, luxury lifestyle celebration to honour young women stepping into their next chapter. The setting encouraged them to interact with the brand.
Kismet by Milka used the event to present jewellery pieces linked to its graduation gift guide. The selection focused on jewellery suitable for transition into higher education and early professional life. The brand aligned the showcase with gifting behaviour linked to graduation, using the event as a point of contact with customers.
The participation of mothers formed a key part of the brand’s strategy, reflecting purchasing roles within the category. By including families, the event extended beyond individual customers and brought multiple decision-makers into a shared space.
The initiative also led to content creation for the brand’s digital platforms. Attendees generated photographs and videos during the event, which were shared across social media channels. This extended the reach of the activation beyond the venue and contributed to ongoing visibility for the brand.
The event reflects a wider shift towards experience-led engagement. By hosting potential customers in a non-transactional setting, brands are able to build direct relationships and increase recall. Events linked to milestones such as graduation create entry points for new customers and support repeat engagement.
The ‘Graduating Class of 2026’ event signals a structured approach by Kismet by Milka to build connections through occasions tied to personal milestones. The brand indicated that such initiatives may continue as part of its engagement strategy in Bahrain.
Kismet by Milka was founded in 2009 in Istanbul by designer Milka Karaağaçlı İnce. The brand focuses on geometric designs using 14-carat gold, diamonds and precious stones, and has expanded its presence to cities including London, New York, Paris and Los Angeles. In the UAE, Kismet by Milka operates a flagship boutique at Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, along with a piercing and jewellery space in Dubai Mall.
