Sold Out to Diamonds
It’s not easy for gold loyalists to convert to diamonds instantly. But I saw one client go through this change. She had come to us to purchase jewellery, hoping we will show her only gold. But being predominantly a diamond jewellery showroom, we tried to get her to buy diamonds. She was hesitant, felt that it would be no good for long-term investment and refused to buy. However, we persisted because we knew she was a potential customer for diamond jewellery. As we showed her different designs and styles, she started getting interested and finally, after much dithering she bought a piece of jewellery. Few days later she again turned up, this time she announced to us that she had come to buy for her daughter’s wedding. Diamonds had won over her heart.
