Amman: Abdullah Sakkijha Jewelry partnered with the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans to launch a new charitable initiative through its Aman Box Collection, a jewellery line that was released for Eid al-Adha. The collaboration is designed to channel half of the profits from the sale of the collection toward supporting orphaned youth in Jordan, aligning with the festival’s themes of generosity and community welfare.Â
The Aman Box Collection is positioned as a purpose-driven jewellery line that integrates social impact with consumer engagement. The initiative directs 50% of its profits to the Al-Aman Fund, a non-profit organisation that provides orphaned youth with access to education, vocational training, and psychosocial support. This partnership reflects a growing trend among Middle Eastern jewellery houses to embed social responsibility into brand strategy and product development.
Each piece in the Aman Box Collection is created by Abdullah Sakkijha Jewelry’s in-house artisans and aligns with the brand’s design philosophy of understated elegance and cultural resonance. The creative direction of the collection revolves around the Arabic word aman, meaning safety and protection—values that underpin the campaign’s objective to provide stability and opportunity to youth without family support structures.
Done for Eid al-Adha, the launch seeked to connect with consumers who are actively looking for meaningful gifts during the festive period. The campaign promotes the idea of “gifting with impact,” encouraging buyers to consider purchases that serve a broader societal function.
This collaboration reflects a broader shift in consumer behaviour in the region, with increased demand for products that combine aesthetic appeal with social contribution. For the jewellery industry, particularly in the Middle East, such initiatives are emerging as a viable model for aligning brand values with customer expectations, especially during culturally significant occasions like Eid.
The Aman Box Collection serves as a case study in how jewellery brands can partner with NGOs to deliver both economic and reputational value, reinforcing the role of luxury goods as conduits for social engagement. The success of such collaborations depends not only on the quality of the product but also on the credibility and transparency of the charitable outcomes they promote.
