Rajesh Popley is a curator by choice, explorer by soul and a connoisseur by nature. Born in a family of accomplished jewellers, he had an early initiation to art and craftsmanship.  Learning all about the world of precious gems, the evaluation of rare pieces, the underlying ethics of selling and craftsmanship were his interests from childhood.

After graduating from the Gemological Institute of India, he took the plunge into the world of diamonds and gemstones and launched the Al Anwaar brand in Dubai, UAE. He is constantly inspired by the spectacle of nature and its myriad forms.
