Doha: Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers has opened its first international store at Doha in Qatar, expanding its presence beyond the shores of India. Located at Al Darwish, Ariane Real Estate Tower, in a prominent commercial area of the city, the store aims to serve both regional and global clients. The decision to enter the Middle East market was influenced by the positive response the brand received during earlier exhibitions held in the region.

Commenting on the development, Yash Agarwal, Director of Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers, said, “Doha’s appreciation for craftsmanship and its cultural alignment with our brand values made it the right choice. We see this as an opportunity to connect with a wider audience that values heritage through jewellery.”

The new store caters to a broad audience, including Qatar nationals, the Indian diaspora, and global jewellery enthusiasts. The product offerings include bridal collections, statement pieces and traditional Indian designs such as polki and jadau, tailored to meet the tastes of Middle Eastern customers. According to the brand, there is a strong demand in the region for high-value jewellery with cultural roots and investment potential.

The Doha store reflects the brand’s strategy to provide personalized services. It offers bespoke designs that combine Indian craftsmanship with global design preferences. Customers can expect a tailored experience through private consultations, allowing them to engage with jewellery pieces that carry both cultural significance and modern functionality.

“Our focus is on blending traditional Indian techniques with elements that appeal to international clients,” added Agarwal. “Through this, we aim to offer jewellery that is both meaningful and adaptable to different cultural settings.”

With the opening of the Doha store, Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers now operates three retail locations—two in India (Jaipur and Delhi) and one in Qatar. The brand also continues to connect with global audiences through private showcases in cities like London, Dubai, Riyadh and Singapore.
