Manama: Luxury watch and jewellery maison Chopard has expanded its presence in the Middle East with the opening of a new boutique at Marassi Galleria Mall in Manama, Bahrain. The store has been launched in partnership with long-standing regional associate Bahrain Jewellery Center (BJC), enhancing the brand’s commitment to key luxury retail destinations in the Gulf.
Marassi Galleria Mall is among Bahrain’s newest and most prestigious shopping destinations, positioning the Chopard boutique within a high-profile retail environment that caters to an affluent and internationally inclined clientele. The opening aligns with the maison’s strategy of expanding its network through carefully selected locations that reflect its heritage and positioning in fine jewellery and watchmaking.
The boutique reflects the maison’s emphasis on craftsmanship, elegance and attention to detail, while supporting a comfortable and personalized shopping journey. Designed in collaboration with Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, the boutique embodies the brand’s family-led values and long-term vision. Commenting on the opening, Scheufele highlighted the significance of the Bahrain location and Chopard’s partnership with BJC. “It is with great joy that we celebrate the opening of our new Chopard boutique in Bahrain, together with our trusted partner Bahrain Jewellery Center. This beautiful space is more than a showcase – it is a reflection of our family spirit, our passion for excellence, and our commitment to sustainability. We want every guest to feel at home, surrounded by creations that tell a story of craftsmanship, precious materials and the beauty of exceptional gemstones,” she said on the brand’s Intsagram page.
The Shirazi family, owners of BJC Group, also underlined the importance of the new opening for the local luxury market. “We are proud of this latest opening offering Chopard and BJC clientele an elevated and memorable environment,” the family stated.
