Dubai: An exclusive invite-only initiative by The Retail Jeweller India is all set to bridge the gap between Indian manufacturers and global Asian-origin retailers catering to the Asian diaspora, enabling 30 top players from India’s jewellery manufacturing hubs to connect directly with 100 chosen international retailers and wholesalers who seek unique, high-quality designs. Scheduled for November 10 to 12, 2024 in Dubai, the event will feature an impressive range of jewellery, from contemporary prêt wear to intricately designed couture collections.
The 100 buyers at the event comprise select international retail jewellers and wholesalers representing the Asian diaspora from 23 different countries including the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and more, while the exceptional line-up of 30 exhibitors is drawn from prominent jewellery hubs across India such as Mumbai, Rajkot, Kolkata, Surat, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, etc. The Retail Jeweller World Pret-a-Couture show will create a tailored experience where both buyers and sellers can achieve clear business results.
The show will highlight the rich legacy of traditional Indian jewellery while aligning with international fashion trends, giving buyers access to a variety of collections meant to appeal to discerning customers across a wide spectrum. It will also offer retailers exclusive access to some of India’s most accomplished jewellery manufacturers, carefully picked for their excellence in design and quality.
The event’s personalized approach allows buyers and sellers to meet directly in dedicated time slots, enabling deeper discussions, tailored offerings and potential collaborations. Buyers will also benefit from networking opportunities with jewellers from various countries, and marketing support from the organizers with access to the latest Point of Sale display materials and cultural experiences, including a Bollywood musical night.
By exhibiting their collections to an international audience, jewellery manufacturers will gain insights into the specific needs of global retailers and secure long-term partnerships.
The offerings at the show encompass collections ranging from yellow gold, antique gold, diamonds, jadau, polki, and coloured gemstones. The event celebrates heritage while embracing the future of design. The increasing penetration of Indian jewellery retail behemoths and the growing demands of the Asian diaspora are changing the dynamics of international jewellery retail markets. The show aims to facilitate Made-in-India jewellery sourcing for Asian-origin jewellers worldwide, even as they witness the gradual shift in the business landscape.
The Retail Jeweller, India’s premier bi-monthly jewellery business magazine since 2004, is the industry’s thought leader. It now reaches leading Jewellers in India and the Middle East. It also pioneered annual knowledge forums in India and Dubai, uniting leading retail jewellers to gain insights into new business trends in the industry, fostering organized industry transformation.
