Damas Jewellery unveils ‘Hand of Gold’ showcase celebrating Italian craftsmanship in Dubai
The initiative brings together renowned Italian jewellery collections that blend heritage, innovation and regional design influences
Dubai: Damas Jewellery has partnered with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) to launch the ‘Hand of Gold’ showcase at its Dubai Festival City Mall boutique, celebrating the enduring legacy of Italian jewellery craftsmanship and its connection with the Middle East.
The showcase was officially inaugurated in the presence of Ananthanarayanan Hariharan, CEO of Damas Jewellery; Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE; Edoardo Napoli, Consul General of Italy in Dubai; and Valerio Soldani, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE and Oman.
The exhibition presents a curated selection of jewellery collections that highlight Italy’s expertise in fine jewellery design while drawing inspiration from the region’s cultural heritage. Featured collections present a blend of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics and innovative design.
The initiative reflects Damas Jewellery’s continued focus on bringing internationally recognized jewellery houses to customers in the UAE while strengthening cultural and commercial ties between Italy and the region. By collaborating with the ITA, the retailer aims to spotlight the creativity, precision and artisanal excellence associated with the ‘Made in Italy’ label.
Through ‘Hand of Gold’, the two organizations seek to demonstrate how Italian jewellery continues to evolve while maintaining its heritage, creating designs that resonate with consumers across the UAE and the wider Middle East. The showcase underscores the shared appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and innovation that connects Italian jewellery traditions with regional tastes and influences.
Damas Jewellery has 146 stores across the six GCC countries: the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.
