Damiani celebrates 100 years of Italian excellence with exclusive centenary event in Dubai

The event was attended by the Damiani family and by other distinguished celebrity guests from the Middle East, who wore the brand’s High Jewellery pieces for the occasion 

Dubai: Damiani, the renowned high jewellery brand celebrated for its exquisite ‘Made in Italy’ creations, marked its 100th anniversary recently in Dubai with an exclusive event ‘100X100 Italiani’ held at the Mandarin Oriental, one of the city’s most luxurious venues, located near the Burj Khalifa. 

The theme of the event was Italianness, a concept that encompasses the rich cultural heritage, artistry and craftsmanship that define Italy. The spotlight was on Damiani’s exceptional high jewellery collections, which paid tribute to the brand’s century-long legacy. 

The exhibition, curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewellery Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan, showcased a curated journey through 100 years of Damiani’s history, expressed through five core values of Italian identity: family, represented by the Damiani family itself; craftsmanship, symbolized by the Mimosa collection; creativity, embodied in the Margherita collection; history, reflected in the Belle Époque collection; and passion, captured in the Fantasy Cut collection.

The event culminated in an exclusive gala dinner, attended by Guido and Silvia Damiani, the President and Vice President of the Group, alongside prominent figures from fashion and entertainment, including model and actress Rym Saidi, actress and TV host Mahira Abdelaziz, entrepreneur Marmar, and TV personality Annabella Hilal, all of whom wore dazzling pieces of Damiani’s high jewellery.
