Damiani opens renovated Dubai Mall boutique, in presence of brand ambassador Jessica Chastain

The renovated Dubai Mall boutique introduces the maison’s latest retail design language to the Gulf, combining Italian design cues with curated display spaces. It reflects Damiani’s current retail concept and remains central to its Middle East presence
Dubai: Italian fine jewellery maison Damiani has inaugurated its renovated boutique at The Dubai Mall, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Guido Grassi Damiani, President of the Damiani Group, Silvia Grassi Damiani, Vice President of the Group and President of Venini, and global brand ambassador Jessica Chastain.
Chastain, who has been associated with the brand as its global ambassador since April 2024, attended the event as guest of honour alongside the Damiani family leadership. The Academy Award-winning actor has worked closely with the maison over the past year and her participation in the reopening highlighted the importance of the Dubai market within Damiani’s wider international presence. The event brought together industry guests, media and members of the local luxury community.
The Dubai Mall boutique, which first opened in 2008, spans 580 square metres and has been redesigned in line with Damiani’s current retail concept. Murano glass details by Venini are integrated throughout the space, referencing the group’s Italian roots and long-standing links to craftsmanship and design.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, invited guests and members of the media were hosted for a private in-store presentation and dinner. The setting allowed visitors to experience the redesigned boutique at a measured pace and engage more closely with the brand’s retail vision. The evening continued at Dubai Harbour Marina, where Damiani hosted a gathering in an Italian-themed setting, extending the celebrations beyond the store.
As part of the inauguration programme, Damiani presented a limited selection of pieces from its High Jewellery collection, Ode all’Italia. The pieces were shown within the context of the reopening, offering guests a brief introduction to the maison’s high jewellery work while keeping the focus on the boutique and its updated design.
The Dubai Mall location remains one of Damiani’s key points of sale in the region. The reopening reflects the brand’s continued investment in physical retail and its intention to maintain a strong presence within one of the Middle East’s most established luxury shopping destinations.
Damiani operates a global retail network, spanning key luxury markets across Europe, Asia and the Americas, supported by a combination of directly operated boutiques and select retail partners. In the Middle East, the brand maintains a focused presence in strategic locations, with Dubai serving as a central hub for its regional retail activity.
