Designed with Islamic symbolism, the collection includes the Ayat Al Kursi, Surah Al Falaq, and Allah Necklaces. The success reflects growing demand for faith-inspired fine jewellery.

Dubai: Donna Hourani has introduced the Three Divine Blessings collection, featuring three exclusive jewellery pieces ahead of Ramadan. The collection, comprising the Ayat Al Kursi Necklace, the Surah Al Falaq Necklace, and the Allah Necklace, blends religious significance with craftsmanship.

The Ayat Al Kursi Necklace, crafted in 18k white gold, featured the verse of Ayat Al Kursi, a Quranic passage believed to offer protection. The design incorporated seven gemstones and eight diamonds, representing key Islamic themes. Seven symbolised the seven heavens, the ritual of Tawaf during Hajj, and the seven verses of Surah Al-Fatiha. The eight diamonds referenced the eight gates of paradise and the angels bearing the Throne of Allah on the Day of Judgment. A turquoise stone was placed at the base for protection, while cabochon tourmalines signified spiritual growth. The piece was priced at $3,400 before being sold out.

The Surah Al Falaq Necklace, priced at $3,300, carried an engraving of Surah Al-Falaq, a chapter of the Quran recited for protection from harm. The design was inspired by traditional rope-like jewellery, common in vintage Arab designs. The pendant featured a crown-like setting adorned with multicoloured sapphires and rubies. The sapphires symbolised wisdom and serenity, while the rubies represented passion and sacrifice. The chain was designed to encircle the pendant, signifying an unbroken connection between the believer and the Divine.

The Allah Necklace, which also sold out, featured the name of Allah at its centre. The design included a sapphire at the base for wisdom and protection, along with Tsavorite garnets, which symbolised paradise and spiritual renewal. These stones were arranged in a crescent moon shape, representing the Islamic calendar and the beginning of Ramadan. The necklace was priced at $4,400.

The launch of the Three Divine Blessings collection ahead of Ramadan highlights a growing market for jewellery that integrates religious motifs with contemporary design. Each piece was designed with specific Islamic symbolism, making them more than just accessories but also expressions of faith. The success of this collection demonstrates the potential for faith-based jewellery in the luxury market. With rising interest in religiously significant designs, jewellers may explore further collections that cater to this niche.
