Dubai Gold District launches secure doorstep delivery for gold and jewellery purchases

With private consultations and secure logistics, the service aims to capture demand and extend retail to more flexible channels

Dubai: The Dubai Gold District has introduced a personalized jewellery delivery service through participating retailers, enabling customers to purchase gold and jewellery via private consultations, followed by secure home delivery.

The service debuts with retailers Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kanz Jewels and Kalyan Jewellers, with more expected to join. Customers can directly connect with retailers to arrange consultations for bullion, coins or jewellery, and have their selections delivered securely.

The initiative comes amid sustained consumer interest in gold as both an investment and gifting option, while demand grows for more convenient and private shopping formats. “With this delivery service, the Dubai Gold District experience extends beyond stores, allowing customers to purchase gold from the comfort and privacy of their homes, while maintaining the transparency and service that define gold shopping in Dubai,” said Muath AlRais, Senior Operations Manager, Dubai Gold District.

Dubai remains a leading global destination for gold purchases, supported by competitive pricing and a strong regulatory framework. As gold prices continue to draw investor attention, retailers are adapting with more flexible, customer-centric shopping formats.

A statement from Malabar Gold & Diamonds said: “We are seeing growing interest from customers who want to purchase gold with greater convenience and privacy, particularly when selecting investment pieces or high-value jewellery. The Dubai Gold District, located in Old Dubai, is home to over 380 retailers offering jewellery, bullion and rare ornaments. It continues to operate normal working hours, while also offering the added convenience of the new delivery service.
