Dubai Summer Surprises provides jewellery shoppers golden opportunities to win

The retail jewellery festival, running until September 3, involves more than 150 gold and jewellery outlets across Dubai

Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is a season packed with exhilarating experiences, unmissable retail deals and the chance to win prizes in raffles and draws that take place throughout the summer season.

This DSS, Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DJGJ), along with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), has been offering amazing chances to win jewellery vouchers with its ‘Glittering City of Gold Jewellery Deals’ which ran in over 150 gold and jewellery outlets across the city. Throughout the campaign, shoppers purchasing jewellery for AED 1000 and above were eligible to receive raffle coupons to enter into a prize draw to win jewellery vouchers worth AED 5000 each. With 20 individual prizes to be won, the competition saw a grand total of AED 1,00,000 in gold and jewellery being given away.

One of the lucky winners, Jenny Gamarcha, 37, from the Philippines, said:“I’ve been in Dubai for four years now, and I got these raffle tickets when I purchased some gold. I received a message telling me that I was selected as the winner, and I was so surprised! I’m really happy to be able to receive this prize, and bought myself some beautiful jewellery with it. I’m so thankful to DGJG.”

Another winner, Nirag Kumar, from India who has been a resident of Dubai for 15 years, said: “I bought the gold from Sky Jewellery with my wife. I was so excited and joyful when I first heard that I won. It’s the very first time I’ve ever won a prize like this. I just want to say how grateful I am for the DGJG gold raffle. I used the vouchers to gift my wife even more jewellery.”

Varun Kumar, 31, also from India, said this about his win:“I can’t explain how happy I am, as I’ve been in Dubai for five years and this is my first time winning. I purchased the gold from Bhima Jewellery in Karama Centre. I’m looking forward to enjoying even more gold shopping with the vouchers I won.”

Customers need to shop for AED 200 at any of the participating malls in the Dubai Summer Surprises Raffle Campaign 2023, to get the chance to win a Nissan Xtrail 2023 until September 3.
Shoppers spending AED 50 on the Idealz app, or in locations such as ENOC or EPPCO petrol stations, ZOOM outlets, AutoPro service centres, ENOC Link terminals and Ibn Battuta Mall stand a chance to win a 2023 Mercedes-Benz A 200. Spending AED 30 on the Idealz mobile app or the website also means the chance to win AED 1,000,000 cash for one lucky winner who will soon become a dirham millionaire.
