Expo Centre Sharjah Gears up For 46th Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show
Sharjah – Expo Center Sharjah has announced preparations to host the 46th edition of the Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show, the largest event of its kind in the UAE and the region, from April 2-6. Organized and hosted by Expo Center Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Watch and Jewellery Show showcases the latest designs of watches, jewellery, diamonds and precious stones.
More than 500 national, regional and international exhibitors from over 25 countries are participating in the event, which occupies a 30,000-square meter space. The show will also see the participation of leading jewellery and watchmakers from the United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, the United States, Latvia, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, Bahrain, Turkey, Taiwan and Yemen, as well as dozens of UAE companies, showcasing the latest designs and trends of traditional and contemporary gold and diamonds as well as a diverse collection of the most prestigious brands from around the world.
UAE: The world’s top destination for luxury products
HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said that the center is putting in place final preparations for the 46th Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show-2019. The show has proved itself to be a leading and reliable platform for launching the latest creative trends and designs in luxury watches and jewellery from all over the world.
Continuing its rapid growth, Al Midfa stressed the Show has been promoting its global and regional status as the most important exhibitions in the world of watches and jewellery, especially as it is being held in the UAE, one of the leading and largest markets and global markets for luxury products besides the desire of shoppers to buy luxury and reliable brands.
Displaying latest innovations
Al Midfa added that the show has gained a global reputation and occupied a particularly prominent place on the map of specialized regional exhibition.
Expo Center Sharjah will spare no efforts to attract the most valuable and recognized brands, global designers and leading companies, to showcase the latest innovations in the world of watchmaking, jewellery and diamonds and keep abreast of the latest global trends, he further said.
The CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah emphasised that the show will provide the opportunity for the public and shoppers to directly buy the displayed products, in addition to meeting the needs of local and regional markets and keeping pace with the aspirations of traders to get the latest industries, works and designs of jewellery and watches.
The Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show has always been a major business event for local and regional luxury jewellery and watches markets and is significantly enhancing the UAE’s status. In this respect, it has to be noted that the UAE ranks fifth in the world in terms of jewellery purchases, and first in terms of the rate of purchase per person.
