Middle East jewellers’ high-jewellery dazzles on Cannes 2024 red carpet 

Aariya Diamonds, Amwaj Jewellery, and La Marquise Jewellery showcased their stunning creations on the red carpet 

 Cannes – The 2024 Cannes Film Festival sparkled brighter than ever, as three prestigious jewellery brands — Aariya Diamonds, Amwaj Jewellery, La Marquise Jewellery and Pavit Gujral —showcased their stunning creations on the red carpet, adorning some of the world’s most celebrated personalities. 

Awarding winning jewellery brand, Pavit Gujral Design made headways at Cannes with distinguished celebrities wearing their high-toned eccentric jewellery pieces. Famed lifestyle influencer, Sasha Ray, wears a piece from the brand’s Christmas Tree Worm collection, inspired from the enchanting marine ecology.  

The brand’s exquisite 18k Gold Hummingbird Necklace, embellished with Rubies, Kunzite and Diamonds, made its debut at the illustrious event with popular Arab actress Feryal Ziyari flaunting it in all its glory. Popular Indian actor-model, Urvashi Rautela posed at the tantalizing red carpet of the event wearing a stunning Dancing Fish collection piece from the house of Pavit Gujral Design. The collection draws inspiration from the Betta fish. Dutch actor Thijs Boermans graced the 77th edition of Cannes wearing the Al Maha Brooch symbolizing The Arabian Oryx which holds cultural significance in the Middle East. 

Leaping Langurs find themselves as part of the unique earrings representing the element of fun and quirkiness. The earring was graclfully adorned by former Miss Universe, Kate Alexeeva, at the festival. 

British fine jeweller Aariya Diamonds captivated the red carpet with their exquisite pieces. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, Indian influencer Niharika NM, French model Didi Stone, and Saudi presenter Khawalah Alshyban were among the celebrities who adorned Aariya’s luxurious jewellery. Each piece, meticulously crafted to enhance the allure and elegance of its wearer, reflected the brand’s dedication to exceptional craftsmanship. The brand also unveiled their latest collection, Y by Aariya. The tagline, “Why not?”, encapsulates its essence, calling to embrace possibilities and celebrate every woman’s unique journey. 

Amwaj Jewellery, an esteemed Emirati high jewellery brand based in Abu Dhabi, showcased its exceptional designs at Cannes. Led by Fatima Al Dhaheri, the brand highlighted its commitment to quality and creativity. Celebrities Diipa Khosla, Aishwarya Rai, and Mahlagha Jaberi graced the red carpet, adorned in Amwaj’s pieces, which are known for their ocean-inspired themes. Founded in 1999, Amwaj has been a symbol of luxury, using the highest quality gemstones to create pieces that resonate with the powerful force of ocean waves. The Cannes appearance marked a significant milestone for Amwaj, reflecting its growing global influence. 

La Marquise Jewellery returned to Cannes after a successful showing in 2023. Their High Jewellery Collection, featuring extraordinary diamonds and ethically sourced gemstones, once again adorned top celebrities Mahlagha Jaberi, Chinese actress Tong Liya, and American socialite Nicky Hilton. This year, La Marquise introduced their new Eid Collection, blending tradition with contemporary style. The Imperia Collection, inspired by the Italian town of Imperia, and the Nura Collection, featuring vibrant gemstones, highlighted their dedication to creating pieces that captivate and inspire. 

The presence of these distinguished jewellers at the Cannes Film Festival underscored their significant roles on the global stage, showcasing the height of luxury and sophistication in jewellery design. Each brand, through their unique creations, celebrated the elegance and charm of the festival’s stars, making a lasting impression on one of the world’s most prestigious events.
