High end Middle Eastern jeweller Jean Jureidini appointed Gembridge Commercial Director
Jean Jureidini, a Beirut-based gemstone dealer who does business with the world’s top wholesalers, and a jeweller whose family have created high jewellery for royalty, has been appointed as executive Commercial Director of digital gemstone and jewellery marketplace Gembridge with immediate effect, alongside his present role as Gembridge Ambassador to the Middle East.
In his new position, Jean will help develop the product and price strategy for 2022, and will be responsible for ensuring all coloured gemstone and jewellery listings on Gembridge meet the highest standards and are offered at the most competitive prices.
“We are delighted that Jean has agreed to join us as Commercial Director as well as carrying on his existing role as Ambassador. Jean has a huge experience in the gemstone and jewellery business and will greatly enhance the commercial impact of Gembridge as the digital marketplace expands,” said Gembridge CEO Nick Marrett.
Jean began his career in the family jewellery business, the House of Tabbah, trained as a gemmologist with the GIA and went on to build his own company, Jureidini Gems and Jewellery s.a.r.l, which serves high end customers across the Middle East and beyond.
Gembridge is helping to pioneer the digital transformation of the coloured gemstone trade, providing a marketplace for members to buy, sell and consign via a secure, verified and insured door-to-door service.
