Italian Exhibition Group Announces Postponement of Oroarezzo Show to July
The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has announced a change of dates for Oroarezzo 2020 (OA). The fair, originally scheduled for April, will now be held July 18-21, 2020, and will be held in the Arezzo Expo Centre with the highest safety standards in place, the organisers said.
IEG said that the move was necessary under the current circumstances which may not allow international buyers to come to Tuscany. It added that alongside there are plans to hold an “omni-channel” edition of OA to maximize meeting opportunities regardless. Involving international associations and exhibitors, countries will be selected and invitations issued to select buyers. This will also entail use of the Business Meeting platform, which IEG has been using for more than ten years.
Some of the other significant integrations being developed specifically for OA 2020 include allowing video conference meetings to take place with buyers at each stand. Buyers will thus be able to participate either physically at Arezzo or by connecting on-line through the I-MOP platform: IEG Meeting Omnichannel Platform.
