The Abdullah family established Jawhara Jewellery in 1907, at a time when creativity, culture, and skilfulness were becoming traditions. Four generations of the family have been united for more than a century by their shared passion for creating both contemporary and traditional jewellery designs for the area. The adventure started in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 1955 with the late Mohammad Taher Abdullah Almohtadi, who founded a jewellery business with a goldsmith shop. In the middle of the 1970s, he passed the firm down to his sons Tawfique, Tawhid and Tamjid Abdullah.
With its rapid growth of Emirati jewellery stores in the region, Jawhara Jewellery has set up over 185 outlets. For more than 25 years, Brand Jawhara has made a commitment to conducting its company ethically, protecting the environment, and having a beneficial influence on the communities where it operates. The brand’s designs are manufactured and sourced from international alliances located in Italy, Turkey, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, India, Bahrain and Lebanon.
