Jewellery brands celebrate Saudi National Day with jewellery pieces inspired by the land
The celebration marks King Abdulaziz’s 1932 order renaming the Kingdom of Najd and the Hejaz the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Jewellery brands across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated Saudi National Day on September 23. Saudi National Day is observed every year to mark King Abdulaziz’s 1932 order renaming the Kingdom of Najd and the Hejaz the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The kingdom was unified on the 21st of Jumada Al Awwal in 1351 H, which translates to September 23, 1932. Across the kingdom, events showcasing traditional crafts, culture, and legacy are being planned.
To commemorate the occasion, Ratana Jewellery, an online store specializing in producing jewellery made of 18-karat gold and encrusted with diamonds, displayed its Saudi-inspired jewellery. The brand posted stories and reels showing its layers of greens in honour of the kingdom.
Founder of Qilada Fine Jewellery and jewellery designer Fatima Ficociello introduced the Mamlakaty necklace as a tribute to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, designed for those who appreciate both elegance and symbolism. Known as the ‘Kingdom Necklace’, the richness of the green hues of the malachite stone mirror the colors of the Saudi flag and the three diamonds represent the two holy cities, Makkah and Madinah and the capital city Riyadh serving as a reminder of the profound spirituality and remarkable progress of the nation. The timeless necklace serves as a precious keepsake, a heirloom that celebrates the rich history, deep-rooted traditions, and unwavering strength of Saudi Arabia, allowing the wearer to carry a piece of the nation’s pride and glory.
Luda Fine Jewellery by cosmetic dentist and jewellery designer Khlood Arab also decided to celebrate the 93rd Saudi National Day with its signature Saudi Palm Tree Pendant. Along with this, the brand also launched a new collection of clip-on mini charms of Saudi Palm Tree that include a range of clip-ons for chains and earrings.
Jawaher Jewelry offered Kingdom-designed bracelets in white, yellow gold and rose gold, with and without diamonds as well as kingdom-themed charms in multiple sizes for any type of watches, including smart watches and wide creek watches.
