Jewellery House Vandals shines at World Art Dubai

The brand hailing from the lineage of Mahesh Notandas set up a booth at World Art Dubai lauded to be a visual spectacle, incorporating digital screens, a digital floor, and walls adorned with their own personal art

Dubai— At the recent World Art Dubai, Vandals, a distinguished name in the jewellery world, made a significant mark as the only Indian jeweller participating in this international art exhibition. The event, renowned for showcasing a diverse array of art forms, saw Vandals bridging the gap between fine jewellery and contemporary art, challenging conventional perceptions and positioning their creations as true works of art.

Speaking about their unique approach, Vandana, Founder of Vandals, emphasized the artistic essence of jewellery. “Jewellery itself is a form of art. Each piece we create involves immense creativity and innovation, making them worthy of being displayed in an art exhibit,” she said. This philosophy guided Vandals to choose World Art Dubai over traditional jewellery exhibitions, aiming to highlight the artistic craftsmanship behind their collections.

At the exhibition, Vandals unveiled new pieces from their summer collection, characterized by inspirations from nature, including motifs of fruits and fish. These pieces, designed with an international taste in mind, featured modular shapes and forms, aligning perfectly with the art show’s avant-garde spirit. Additionally, Vandals showcased high jewellery pieces, including solitaire necklaces with 10-carat stones, emphasizing their commitment to statement pieces that blend art with luxury.

Vandals’ booth at World Art Dubai was a visual spectacle, incorporating digital screens, a digital floor, and walls adorned with their own personal art. This immersive setup not only showcased their jewellery but also integrated Vandals’ unique art creations, which were all sold out during the exhibition.

“Our entire booth was advanced and innovative, reflecting our progressive approach. The art we displayed was our own personal IP, and its successful sale was a testament to the synergy between our jewellery and art,” Vandana shared.

The exhibition provided Vandals with unparalleled exposure to a diverse, international audience. “The clientele at World Art Dubai was different from our usual targets but equally capable of appreciating and purchasing high-quality art and jewellery,” Vandana noted. This diverse audience, ranging from Middle Eastern buyers to global art enthusiasts, offered Vandals valuable insights and opportunities for future international markets.

Encouraged by the positive response at World Art Dubai, Vandals plans to participate in four more international exhibitions by the end of the year. These events are expected to further elevate their brand and expand their reach in new markets. “We are very selective about the exhibitions we participate in, ensuring they align with our brand’s high-end positioning and artistic narrative,” Vandana explained.
