Designed as a social gathering, the initiative brought together diamonds, luxury fashion and personalized consultations in a retail setting

Kuwait City: Limas Jewellery recently hosted ‘Diamond & Frost’, a winter-themed in-store experience designed to encourage social interaction, styling discovery and personalized jewellery consultation. Hosted at the brand’s showroom, the initiative brought together diamonds, luxury handbags and winter outerwear in a relaxed, season-led retail activity.

Speaking to Retail Jeweller Middle East, Sara Al-Ojayan, Owner and Creative Director, Limas Jewellery, said the initiative centred on education, individuality and emotional connection rather than transaction-driven retail. “It’s about expressing your unique self,” she said. “Authenticity is the ultimate beauty, and empowering each other is what truly shines.”

Al-Ojayan explained that the experience was designed to help women understand how to style jewellery with winter coats, handbags and seasonal fashion, while ensuring each piece reflects personal identity and lifestyle. Clients were encouraged to take their time, ask questions and make thoughtful, considered choices. “Wear your special jewellery, style it your way, and celebrate your individuality,” Al-Ojayan added.

The concept behind ‘Diamond & Frost’ drew inspiration from the winter season, which naturally brings people together in cozy, intimate spaces. Rather than positioning the event as a conventional sales showcase, Limas Jewellery framed it as a social gathering where clients and influencers could connect over coffee, exchange styling ideas and explore how fine jewellery integrates into everyday winter dressing.

The experience also highlighted practical winter styling, with statement and everyday jewellery layered over outerwear, supported by personalized consultations that reflect a growing regional shift toward experience-led luxury retail.

The showroom played a central role in shaping the experience. Designed with Parisian art deco influences, the space creates what Al-Ojayan describes as a “theatre-like” atmosphere, encouraging calm exploration and meaningful interaction rather than fast-paced retail engagement.

The event was fronted by influencer Sara Al Mutawa, who served as the face of ‘Diamond & Frost’. Known for her authentic engagement and refined aesthetic, her presence helped set the tone for the gathering and attract visitors. “For us, jewellery isn’t just something you wear; it’s an extension of oneself, a reflection of personality and emotion,” she said. “Diamonds, jewellery, furs — it’s a lifestyle, a choice to live every moment with a touch of Hollywood glamour.”

At the heart of the showcase was the brand’s La Joya collection. The collection was selected for its colourful, joyful designs and emotional appeal, aligning with the beginning of the year when many clients look to invest in meaningful, self-expressive pieces. According to Al-Ojayan, jewellery at this time is often viewed as both a sentimental purchase and a personal statement.

Founded in 2023, Limas Jewellery operates from a single showroom and continues to prioritize experience-led retail.
