More than 120 leading brands from 16 countries make 31st edition of Jewellery & Watch Show Abu Dhabi a big success
The event ran from November 13 to 17, 2024, with the participation of exhibitors from the UAE, Italy, Lebanon, India, Bahrain, China, Singapore, Qatar, Turkey and Kuwait, among others
Abu Dhabi: The 31st edition of the Jewellery & Watch Show Abu Dhabi (JWS), held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from November 13 to 17, 2024, turned out to be a resounding success with the participation of more than 120 leading brands from 16 countries, including the UAE, Italy, India, Bahrain, China, and Turkey among others.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, had officially inaugurated the show on November 13. JWS attracted nearly 7,000 visitors, and showcased an impressive array of gold, diamond and gemstone collections from local, regional and international designers.
Notable exhibitors at the show included Salem Al Shueibi, Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Jewellery, Al Fardan Jewellery, Amwaj Jewellery, Bhaskar Devji Jewellers, Blue Diamond, Demanto Gold & Diamond, Diosa Luxury Jewellery, FerrariFirenze, Hia Exports, Jawhara Jewellery, Jewel Palate, La Marquise, Luxury Gems and Diamond Trading, Renee Jewellers, Rosella Jewellery by Taiba, Sunita Shekhawat – Jaipur, and many more.
The 2024 edition of JWS introduced several new initiatives, including the Jewellery Design Workshop, led by renowned Emirati designer Azza Al Qubaisi, and Talk Series, where visitors gained insights into jewellery design trends, skills, and business opportunities. The International Designer Gallery highlighted the artistry of global brands, while the Emirati Designer Gallery celebrated emerging talent from the GCC region.
Meanwhile, emerging jewellery designers converged at the Ebda’a Awards headed by Azza Al Qubaisi, which had a new award category this year. In addition to the earlier four design categories: Pearls, Emirati Identity, Arabic Calligraphy-inspired Designs, and People of Determination, the new category introduced was the ‘Most Active Educational Institute’.
According to an official press release, Zen Diamond, a globally recognized jewellery brand, was the main sponsor of the event. Jewellery & Watch Show Abu Dhabi continues to provide a platform for emerging talents and bring together the leading local and international brands in the gold, jewellery, and diamond sectors to learn about the latest market trends, benefit from new ideas, and exchange experiences.
The next edition of the Jewellery and Watch Show will be held from November 12-16, 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
