Mukhi Sisters Collective extends brand vision with purpose-driven product line through series of collaborations

Partnering with Ala Carte Cards, Asma’s Crafts and Creative Space Beirut, the sisters have co-created a series of thoughtfully developed products, ranging from eco-conscious journals to symbol-rich accessories, that stand for meaningful design and community support
Beirut: The Mukhi Sisters Collective, held on April 16, 2025, was a celebration of stories, symbols and shared moments that connect people, through a showcase of thoughtfully crafted jewellery pieces. Maya, Meena and Zeenat, the trio behind the celebrated fine jewellery brand, have expanded their creative vision beyond traditional design. With a series of inspiring collaborations, they have turned everyday objects into meaningful symbols, blending artistic innovation with a commitment to community empowerment.
One of the standout projects within the Mukhi Sisters Collective is their collaboration with Ala Carte Cards on a line of limited-edition set of leather journals, made with Alga Carter, an ecologically conscious paper made of seaweed. Designed with the story-teller in mind, these journals encourage the dreamer in all of us to write it all down. Whether for personal reflections, creative musings or big ideas, each journal serves as a sustainable canvas for the stories waiting to be told.
The Mukhi Sisters also collaborated with Asma’s Crafts to design a set of enchanting coffee cups that go beyond mere functionality. With their delicate craftsmanship and beautiful symbolism, these cups have become ‘fortune tellers’, whispering promises of hope and beauty for tomorrow. Perfect for those who want to make each sip a ritual of optimism, these coffee cup sets offer a chance to infuse everyday life with a bit of magic.
In yet another meaningful collaboration, the Mukhi Sisters worked with Creative Space Beirut, a non-profit dedicated to empowering young artisans, to create a series of bag charms. Handcrafted by fashion students, each charm is a personal interpretation of the brand’s ‘Better Than Yesterday’ campaign. Guided by a selection of beaded gemstones and pearls provided by the Mukhi Sisters, the students infused their own creativity and meaning into each piece. The sisters followed up with each student throughout the process. These bag charms reflect the creativity, resilience, and determination of the students who brought them to life, making them symbols of both style and empowerment.
The Mukhi Sisters Collective exemplifies the brand’s ethos: blending artistry with purpose. Each collaboration represents the sisters’ deep respect for craftsmanship and their commitment to supporting communities and inspiring others. Whether through journals, coffee cups, or accessories, these creations remind us that beauty is not just in the object, but in the stories and meanings we infuse into them.
By supporting artisans, empowering young creators, and celebrating the power of story-telling, the Mukhi Sisters have created a legacy that goes beyond jewellery, offering tangible symbols of hope, creativity and connection.
