Showcasing collections like The Mumbai Rain and Halloween, the brand celebrated nature and creativity through intricate designs. This marks Pavit Gujral’s second collaboration with IAIAD, further cementing her position as a leading force in the luxury jewellery industry
Dubai: Pavit Gujral Designs took the spotlight once again at It’s All in A Day (IAIAD) Season 3 with a showcase titled ‘Kaleidoscope of the Jewelry Pop-Star’. The IAIAD show, a premier platform that celebrates artistic excellence in jewellery and fashion, spotlighting iconic designers and brands worldwide, featured Pavit Gujral models performing and walking the runway, presenting jewellery collections for both men and women.
The designer presented her dynamic collections on the runway, including ‘The Halloween Collection’, ‘The Starfish Collection’, ‘The Mumbai Rain Collection’, and ‘The White Daisy Collection’.
The Mumbai Rain Collection, inspired by Mumbai’s torrential monsoons, features over 35 carats of round brilliant and marquise diamonds paired with vivid turquoise cabochons. The White Daisy Collection, a spring-inspired line, incorporates 2,690 tsavorite garnets, yellow sapphires, and diamonds, symbolising purity and innocence. Each design reflects a seamless blend of heritage, nature, and bold innovation, redefining luxury jewellery.
A standout from the Halloween Collection was the Halloween Earrings, crafted in 18k gold with cabochon amethysts and diamonds. Featuring over 20 carats of pavé-set inverted black diamonds for a spiky texture, the earrings also include detachable pear brilliant diamonds for added versatility.
Other signature pieces included the Jellyfish Earrings, adorned with over 2,000 pink sapphires, pink tourmalines, and diamonds; the playful Squirrel Ring, featuring a 17.94-carat cushion-cut pink tourmaline; and the Black Forest Ring, crafted with heirloom black star diopside and rhodolite garnets. From nature’s wonders to bold expressions of creativity, these designs redefine luxury.
The designer Pavit Gujral describes her show ‘Kaleidoscope of the Jewelry Pop-Star’ as an immersive experience in a whirlwind of colours, shapes, and striking high jewellery that redefines luxury and creativity.
This is Pavit Gujral’s second collaboration with IAIAD, following her participation in Season 2 last year.
Founded in 2016, Pavit Gujral Designs has grown into a leading luxury jewellery brand based in Dubai. Originally from Chandigarh, India, the designer and gemologist aspires to become the “Popstar” of the fine jewellery industry. Earlier this year, the brand made its Cannes debut, further cementing its global presence.
Pavit Gujral has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the London Design Awards, the Saul Bell Design Awards, and many others, recognising her exceptional creativity and craftsmanship in the world of fine jewellery. Most recently, her iconic Parrot Earrings achieved international acclaim by winning the Jewelry Without Limits category at the Singapore International Jewellery Award 2024, presented by the Minister of State, Mr. Alvan Tan.
Her designs are meticulously curated and reflect her deep influences drawn from nature’s wonders, architectural marvels, and the experiences from her extensive travels across the globe.
One of her most celebrated creations is the Mumbai Rain Necklace, a breathtaking piece adorned with 2,500 pavé diamonds. This exquisite design was born out of her visit to Mumbai, where she experienced days of relentless monsoon rains. The necklace beautifully captures the essence of the city’s torrential downpours, translating them into a luxurious work of art.
The Black Chakra Collection, another iconic collection, is crafted in 18K gold and features Black Spinel, Sapphires, and round brilliant Diamonds. This collection draws its inspiration from a mesmerising Light Pendant that caught her attention during a Design Expo.
Her travels to Finland served as the muse for the renowned Iceberg Collection. This collection is distinguished by a stunning tanzanite cabochon at its centre, surrounded by a cascade of diamonds on a delicate ice-like structure, and consists of versatile designs that can be worn as a pendant, bracelet, or brooch.
The Marigold Collection celebrates the vibrant beauty of the Marigold flower, a symbol of the sun’s warmth, inner strength, and radiant energy. This collection features elegant Citrine carvings resting on a bed of pavé-set Diamonds in 18K Gold. The earrings and ring bands are intricately adorned with marquise Diamonds, Tourmaline, and delicate Pearls, embodying the flower’s timeless charm and significance.
Adding to her portfolio of unique creations are the Wolverine Cufflinks & Buttons, inspired by the intricate and intelligent nature of wolves. These designs reflect the majestic qualities associated with these magnificent creatures, blending strength, elegance, and meticulous detail into wearable art.
