Rihanna showcases Qatari jewellery in latest Fenty beauty campaign
Founded by Noor Ali Hussain Alfardan, Noudar Jewels merges traditional Arabian aesthetics with a contemporary approach to luxury jewelry
Dubai: Rihanna, the founder of Fenty Beauty, has launched the brand’s latest campaign this week, featuring several striking images where the Barbadian icon models jewellery from Qatari label Noudar Jewels.
The campaign focuses on the release of Fenty Beauty’s latest lip products, with Rihanna exuding glamour in a series of photographs. Among them, she is seen donning a fiery red faux fur headpiece, complemented by Noudar Jewels’ Henna Rings.
Founded by Noor Ali Hussain Alfardan, Noudar Jewels merges traditional Arabian aesthetics with a contemporary approach to luxury jewellery, as stated on its official website. The brand is celebrated for incorporating Omani patterns reminiscent of intricate mosaic work and henna-inspired designs.
Noudar Jewels has garnered attention from global celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, and Kendall Jenner for its distinctive pieces.
This isn’t the first time Rihanna has embraced jewellery from the Asian subcontinent for her beauty campaigns. In a previous instance, she showcased creations by renowned Indian designers Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee to launch her Fenty Hair line. The ensemble featured a custom-cut ruby choker from Malhotra’s High Jewellery collection and a pendant adorned with rubellite stones from Sabyasachi’s collection.
Known for her affinity for international designers, Rihanna has frequently championed the creations of Jordanian-Romanian footwear designer Amina Muaddi. The singer has showcased Muaddi’s designs at prestigious events ranging from couture shows to red carpet galas.
Muaddi’s collaboration with Rihanna on shoes for the Fenty collection in 2020 was particularly notable, earning them the Collaborator of the Year award at the FN Achievement Awards.
