Salem Al Shueibi shines at watch and jewellery Middle East show

The brand’s announcement to train Emirati women, developing prowess within the jewellery industry, was the highlight of their participation
Sharjah, UAE – Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery Establishment drew significant attention at the 54th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, inaugurated by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. As the main sponsor, the establishment showcased a wide range of luxury jewellery appealing to various tastes.
This year’s highlight was the “Eterna Bloom” collection, created by Emirati designer Shamma Al Hallami, featuring unique diamond designs. The establishment also launched a community initiative aimed at training Emirati women for careers in the jewellery industry, in partnership with local universities.
Spanning 1,500 square meters, Salem Al Shueibi’s pavilion attracted a large turnout of visitors, including celebrities and business figures, who explored the innovative jewellery designs and modern manufacturing techniques on display.
Ahmed Anizan, Director of Public Relations and Development at Salem Al Shueibi Establishment, mentioned plans to establish the largest gold and jewellery factory in the Gulf region, aiming to strengthen the company’s position in the sector and contribute to the non-oil economy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Founded in 1973 by Salem Al Shueibi, the establishment has over 45 years of experience in the jewellery industry. The journey began with the first showroom in Abu Dhabi’s Central Market, coinciding with the UAE’s growth. This initial showroom offered unique gold and diamond pieces crafted in-house by skilled artisans.
In 1999, Salem Al Shueibi opened a second showroom in the Madinat Zayed Gold Center, one of the largest in the Middle East, featuring exquisite designs. Subsequent showrooms in Dubai (2004) and Al Ain (2010), along with another in Bawabat Al Sharq Mall (2011), were launched to better serve clients. Each showroom showcases a collection of rare and beautiful international designs, earning the brand a reputation for excellence. Competitors have dubbed it “Jewellery for Royalty.”
