Yataghan’s Founder and CEO Sarah Abudawood described the Riyadh launch as a defining chapter in the brand’s journey

Riyadh: Yataghan Jewellery has opened a new boutique at Kingdom Centre, one of Riyadh’s most iconic landmarks. Located at Level 2 of the building, the new space marks a significant milestone in the brand’s journey, bringing Yataghan’s vision of artistry, identity and modern heritage to the capital.

Sarah Abudawood, Founder and Creative Director of Yataghan Jewellery, described the launch as a defining chapter in the brand’s journey. She noted that Yataghan has always approached jewellery as more than adornment, positioning its designs at the intersection of heritage and modern design language.

The inauguration brought together guests from the art, design, and cultural community. Among those present was Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, highlighting the growing recognition of Saudi-led creative brands within the luxury space.

The boutique showcases a curated selection of Yataghan’s signature and fine jewellery collections, each defined by meticulous artistry and symbolic meaning. From the Calligraphy Series, including Harfi and Isme, which celebrate personal identity through sculptural Arabic forms, to heritage-led creations such as Turathi and Ginea that draw from Saudi history and cultural symbolism, the assortment reflects the brand’s commitment to jewellery as a form of self-expression. Iconic designs from collections such as Hubb, Chakra and Infinity further highlight Yataghan’s architectural language.

The brand is looking ahead to ambitious expansion across the GCC and internationally bringing its unique voice of tribal-chic luxury to a global community. “At its core, Yataghan is more than jewellery. It is a movement, a celebration of identity, belonging and the enduring power of heritage reimagined for today’s world,” said Sarah Abudawood, Founder and Creative Director, Yataghan Jewellery. “With our Riyadh boutique, we are creating a space that allows these values to be experienced physically, through craftsmanship, design and personal connection.”

The Riyadh debut follows the recent relocation of Yataghan’s headquarters and flagship to a prestigious street-front location on Jeddah’s Tahlia Street. Together, these openings represent a strategic phase of growth, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to expanding its physical presence within the Kingdom while strengthening its relationship with a growing local and regional clientele.

Founded by Sarah Abudawood in 2008 and inspired by the distinctive Yataghan sword, an emblem of strength, resilience and elegance, Yataghan reflects a minimalist design language enriched with Arabic calligraphy and tribal motifs. Each boutique embodies this balance between heritage and modernity, creating an environment where jewellery becomes a vessel of identity and personal expression.

With an expanding footprint in Jeddah and Riyadh, Yataghan continues to strengthen its position as a Saudi jewellery brand rooted in cultural identity while responding to evolving retail expectations. The brand also operates a showroom in Dubai and retails online through premium department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, extending its reach beyond its standalone boutiques.
