Shiv Narayan Jewellers becomes the only Indian jeweller to hold 8 Guinness World Records
To commemorate the achievement, the brand is holding a global press conference to unveil the record-breaking creations, followed by an exclusive reception, at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad
Jewellery brand Shiv Narayan Jewellers Pvt Ltd has officially secured eight Guinness World Records titles for unique pieces of jewellery created by it. This milestone solidifies Shiv Narayan Jeweller’s position as the sole Indian jeweller to accomplish such a feat on a global scale.
To commemorate the achievement, Shiv Narayan Jewellers is holding a global press conference, followed by an exclusive reception, at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, Telangana. This grand event will witness the unveiling of the following four record-breaking products, which achieved 8 Guinness World Records:
1.The Ganesha Pendant
- The heaviest pendant
- The most diamonds set on a pendant
2.The Ram Darbar
- The heaviest pendant
- The most diamonds set on a pendant
- The heaviest diamond pendant
3.The Satlada Necklace
- The most emeralds set on a necklace
- The most diamonds set on a necklace
4.The Magnifying Glass
- The most expensive magnifying glass
Among the creations is the Ganesh Pendant, meticulously handcrafted over 6.5 months. This exquisite jewel had earned two prestigious titles from Guinness World Records: the heaviest pendant and the most diamonds set on a pendant. Adorned with a staggering 11,472 individual diamonds, the Ganesh Pendant weighs 1011.150 grams and is a combination of artistry, luxury and heritage.
The second jewel that will be unveiled at the event has not only broken the records held by the Ganesh Pendant but also added another title to its name. It is the ‘Ram Darbar’, now officially recognised as the heaviest pendant, the most diamonds set on a pendant, and the heaviest diamond pendant. This masterpiece weighs an astounding 1681.820 grams and features an array of 54,666 diamonds. Crafted with utmost precision and care, the Ram Darbar took over 8.5 months to create. The pendant’s exceptional design stands out, with meticulously polished diamonds adorning the front, while the entire back is adorned with diamonds and inscribed with the divine name of Lord Ram.
The third piece of jewellery, the Satlada Necklace, pays homage to the ancient treasures of the Nizams, an integral part of Shiv Narayan’s heritage. This resplendent necklace won the Guinness World Records titles for the most emeralds set on a necklace (315 emeralds), and the most diamonds set on a necklace (1971 diamonds). The sourcing of the emeralds alone took over 2.5 years, while the crafting process spanned four months, a pointer to the dedication and attention to detail invested in each creation.
In addition to these achievements, Shiv Narayan Jewellers’ the Magnifying Glass secured the Guinness World Records title for the most expensive magnifying glass, valued at $108,346. Weighing 171.010 grams and embellished with 63.65 carats of emeralds and 29.70 carats of diamonds, this masterpiece redefines the concept of luxury and elegance.
