US-Egyptian model Sandra Shehab partners with David Yurman for its Sculpted Cable rang

The Yurman x Shehad partnership aims to promote the fine jewellery label’s recent collection, which is a play on the jewellery house’s signature cable motif

DUBAI: US-Egyptian model Sandra Shehab recently took to social media to post a collaboration video with David Yurman, a New York-based jewellery brand, displaying a pair of ‘Sculped Cable’ bangles including one bangle hand-set pavé diamonds, as well as a pair of rings and earrings.

“My @davidyurman pieces always elevate the look,” the model captioned the video, in which she can be seen trying on a set of the label’s signature creations. The Sculpted Cable collection is a play on the jewellery house’s signature cable motif. The updated version transforms the original twisted helix into a carved relief.

Shehad came into the limelight in 2018 after appearing in Season 24 of “America’s Next Top Model.” The model is now spotted at fashion weeks around the world and has worked with numerous brands on social media.

Back in September 2023, model Sophie Richie Grainge had starred in a campaign of the Sculpted Bracelet collection as its brand ambassador.

Founded in 1980 by David and Sybil Yurman, the jewellery house’s signature twisted motif was created not long after. According to the brand’s website, David shaped 50 feet of gold wire into the first Cable design, with pink tourmaline and emerald end caps, in 1982. The twisted motif became a calling card for the brand, so much so that David described it as “the river that runs through all of our designs,” in a previously released statement.

In 2016, the brand made its way to the Middle East, where it currently has two stores in Dubai at Bloomingdales and Harvey Nichols.
