Vinsmera Group to invest Rs 2,000 crore to establish gold jewellery retail chain in India and UAE

The brand will set up 20 jewellery showrooms and production units across India and the Gulf region, with the first retail store set to open in Kozhikode by the end of April. Actor Mohanlal will be the brand ambassador for Vinsmera

Kochi: The Vinsmera Group, promoted by the Kambrath brothers – Dinesh Kambrath, Anil Kambrath, Manoj Kambrath and Krishnan Kambrath – will invest Rs 2,000 crore over the next two years to establish a gold jewellery retail chain in India and the Gulf region. The investment will be used to set up 20 jewellery showrooms and production units. The leadership team of the Vinsmera Group made the announcement at a press meet held in Kochi.

The first phase of the retail expansion includes showrooms in Kozhikode, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai and Bengaluru, along with a state-of-the-art production facility in Kerala’s Kannur. The company will also open outlets and manufacturing units in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Malayalam actor Mohanlal will be the brand ambassador for Vinsmera.

“Reimagining jewellery retail with a focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and job creation is our priority. Vinsmera is not just a brand; it is a promise of quality and innovation,” said Dinesh Kambrath, Co-Founder of Vinsmera Group.

The initiative is expected to generate approximately 2,500 job opportunities, with particular emphasis on women’s participation throughout the jewellery manufacturing value chain. The Vinsmera Group already employs over 1,000 individuals, with women making up a significant portion of the workforce.

The first Vinsmera retail store in Kerala will open in Kozhikode by the end of April, in the form of a 10,000-sq. ft showroom. Following that, another showroom will be opened on MG Road in Kochi.

A hallmark of Vinsmera’s operations is its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company’s 50,000 sq. ft manufacturing units in Sharjah and Kannur strictly adhere to green best practices, including the use of hydrogen fuel. As a result, Vinsmera has earned global recognition for its eco-friendly approach.
