World Academy of Design Holds Ceremony for Jewellery Design Graduates

The World Academy of Design celebrated the 4^th Graduation Ceremony of its accomplished Graduate and Diploma certified students on 26^thSeptember 2022. The commencement recognized 26 Diploma and Level -1 certified candidates from 3D CAD Designing program along with Gemology course. Before the commencement,World Academy of Design Founder & MD Mr. Tarun Jain and Co-founder & CEO Ms. Mahima Verma hosted a warm reception for all the graduates in the event.Congratulations, Graduation Ceremony ’2022!

Mr. Jain portrayed an exquisite experience of mentoring the most amazing 26 candidates in last 6 months. This academy believes in the benefits of students and preparing them for the grand future of jewellery design industry. No matter how simple or appealing a piece of jewellery looks, a great deal of time and effort goes into the creation. A melting of creativity and business that prepares its students for the reality of jewellery design’s harsh deadlines in balance with the high creativity of the art world.

Ms. Verma conveyed her best wishes for their well-deserved success and congratulated them to be a part of this academy . It was a pleasure for her to meet such talented design and art students. She encouraged them to achieve more success in upcoming future. Both the certificates and design portfolio have already been prepared by the academy and it was the D-Day to honor them with their true title and positions .She was lucky to be a mentor of this great team and willing to celebrate more happy moments of success together .

The Diploma students who have completed Level  1, 2, 3  and successfully passed in the examination were welcomed to take this honor with adisplay of their amazing design portfolio work . Respective candidates were greeted with diploma and training completion certificates of both CAD Design and Gemology courses. The upcoming jewellery industry seems poised for a glittering future with the magnificent works of these graduate designers.They all belong to different background and qualification in medical, civil service,business , interior designing and design engineering.   But they have started setting a trend in jewellery features with theme-based design and their innovative concepts. Each of them has applied minute technical skills while developing their design work portfolio in CAD 3D software. A variety of customized collection portrayed in design along with the beads and gemstones to suit their color and preference .

Blending modern interpretation of ancient aesthetics and techniques with classical tradition , these talented candidates proved they can create their own brand in jewellery industry.

Everyone likes pretty trinkets, but how many can design them.

The very first student Diploma holder Hiba Hamdan, who is a jewellery designer from Lebanon and living in Abu Dhabi. She has been very talented and punctual in her assignment work throughout the course duration. She aspires to launch her jewellery line in near future. She successfully passed Level 2 , 3 and fulfilled every requirement to achieve her Diploma certification. She has prepared her jewellery design work portfolio based on boat and ship theme. Her collection is an intricate blend of vintage details with modern elegant designs for the women who appreciate an expression of legacy to elevate their everyday. She has designed the ship, which is her country ‘s earlier legacy symbol to feel connected with route. Her color choice and preference highlight the beauty of every piece of jewellery if that would be worn on someday.

One of the best rendering has been done by next graduate designer Dania Bin Mahfooz , who used architecture theme and vibrant colors to create her statement pieces of work. She has been very appreciating for the teaching methods and all the learning support of  MD& Founder Mr. Tarun Jain along with Co-founder & CEO Ms. Mahima Verma . In regards to her design , she has been inspired by the mesmerizing architecture work of Zaha Hadid. Zaha’s architectural realizations have always evoked to her the work of time and the way curves are used in jewellery designing is a recognition of timeless aesthetics. She is art person and loves to blend her talent of abstract art in jewellery designing . She has created very simple elements of art  form as cloud , stand and camera to give her work a timeless creation.

An allrounder designer, Alia  Al Zari has successfully passed 3 levels of her Diploma course in jewellery designing . Her design work portfolio is inspired by flower of desert. Her love for design and creativity has started from childhood. She loves to combine her creativity with jewellery designing to create a piece of story and hold beautiful memories. The story behind her collection is hope in something that feels empty. Just like the desert and it’s cactus flowers which comes in beautiful colours and unique in it’sforms . She created her collection of necklace , ring and earring design following the concept of various cactus named as Bishops Cap , Powder Puff and Spirals , with beautiful intersection of diamonds. Her exotic garden brooch is a collection of all the cactus types which makes a beautiful exotic garden.

Sow Chieck Alpha Mohamoud belong to a family of gold traders of Africa . He is a sincere designer and always keeps on surprising everyone with his exemplary performance. He wants to make an impact with a career in jewellery design . Many emotions motivate the art of designing jewellery including the desire for perfection, the need for recognition and the need to please or display dedication. His jewellery is not based on one theme or idea but has been a natural development of a variety of interests and influences. He is grateful for the teaching and support of World Academy of Design.

Mawia Abdulaziz A. Alhazmi , is a dentist in profession and out of curiosity  joined the course of jewellery designing to open her own brand . She had an amazing learning experience in academy. She has hugely appreciated about Ms. Mahima for her teaching dedication and being a continuous support for every student on their number of queries. She would love to learn more from academy to finish her further Level 2 and 3 of design courses as she believes that whether a persons want to design in-house or run own brand, the first step is to get educated.

The young creative graduates from World Academy of Design , UAE portrayed their design portfolio and expressed revolutionary opinions  of jewellery designing as a career option. They have created each piece with passion , love and take joy in seeing people wearing their art. All the young graduate designers put their hours of effort to make the craft perfect and display a grand design work portfolio. They would like to keep on working to create a niche for their upcoming jewellery design collection.

Mr. Ang from Singapore congratulated the students for their great work and invited for the next year jewellery show.

With such inspirational gratitude, the ceremony concluded after congratulating 10 successful Gemstone certified professionals and conveying best wishes to appear in the next level of jewellery design courses.    A warm welcome and congratulations to all students for their future endeavors!!!
