World’s largest gold bar unveiled at the Dubai Gold Souk Extension

The Guinness World Record-breaking 300-kilogram gold bar showcases Dubai’s gold craftsmanship and industrial innovation

Dubai: The Dubai Gold Souk Extension became the epicentre of global attention on December 7 and 8, hosting an extraordinary unveiling of the world’s largest gold bar. Produced by Essa Al Falasi’s Emirates Minting Factory, this monumental creation weighing over 300 kilograms has officially broken the Guinness World Record, solidifying Dubai’s position as a global leader in the gold and precious metals industry.

Prominently displayed outside the Emirates Minting Factory shop, the massive gold bar draws inspiration from the previous record-holder—a 250-kilogram gold bar from Japan. This milestone not only celebrates Dubai’s innovation and excellence but also underscores the pivotal role of local retailers in positioning the city as a hub for luxury and international trade.
