ZAH creative hub hosts designer’s showcase promoting Greek jewellery in Saudi market

The exhibition, which concluded recently, was held in Riyadh and is part of ZAH’s year-long events program that features a new designer every two weeks

Riyadh: ZAH creative hub in Riyadh recently hosted the Greek jewellery brand Kouzoupis, which is committed to preserving and transmitting the ancient Greek jewellery tradition.

The exhibition, which concluded recently, is part of ZAH’s year-long events program that features a new designer every two weeks.

Last month, the creative hub also hosted House of GOL, a high-end jewellery brand from New York that exhibited its rare and unique jewellery masterpieces.

Antonios Kouzoupis, Head, Sales Department at Kouzoupis, expressed his joy at being in Saudi Arabia and showcasing Greek designs.

“Since Greeks and Arabs share similar cultures, ZAH is the ideal place to be. They are incredibly kind and do a great job of showcasing the pieces.

“Our jewellery is unique and not found in the Arabic market. People love to find unique pieces, and we put a lot of thought into our designs. I am here to promote our Greek jewellery to the Saudi market,” Kouzoupis told Arab News.

Clea Nasr, head of the marketing department at ZAH, said: “We are extremely selective when it comes to selecting designers; we don’t work with brands; instead, we only host designers who put in a lot of effort and whose portfolios we thoroughly review.”

Nasr added: “ZAH is a place where Saudi designers can come exhibit their jewellery and interact with customers. We also set up an online store where customers can buy our designers’ creations. Due to its success, we are now hosting international designers.”

She mentioned that, in an effort to reach as many people as possible interested in jewellery, they have a price range for all of them, starting from SR2,000 ($533).

ZAH, a tech-based platform, empowers Saudi jewellery designers and welcomes international jewellery brands to its creative hub in Riyadh. In preparation for Ramadan, the hub will feature new makeovers for jewellery and fashion designers.

Having successfully hosted various events, ZAH aims to highlight the artwork of Saudi designers, expanding their reach.
