Egyptian jeweller Azza Fahmy debuts in Saudi Arabia with new store launch in Riyadh
The new 80-square-meter boutique showcases jewellery reflecting Egyptian artistry and cultural narratives, celebrating her 55-year legacy while featuring contributions from local artists
Riyadh: Azza Fahmy Jewellery, the prestigious Egyptian brand known for its exquisite craftsmanship, has made its retail debut in Saudi Arabia with a new boutique in the Kingdom Centre, Riyadh. The launch is a collaboration with Attar United and supported by Alsara Investment Group.
Spanning 80 square meters, the boutique will feature a curated selection of jewellery that reflects Egyptian artistry and rich cultural narratives, embodying the brand’s 55-year legacy. The store’s design pays homage to regional heritage, incorporating contributions from local artists such as Randa Fahmy and Bokja’s Huda Baroudi and Maria Hibri.
“I am proud of our launch in Saudi Arabia, a country deeply connected to Egypt’s history and heritage,” said Azza Fahmy, founder and chairwoman of the family-owned jeweller. “We look forward to connecting with our loyal customers and collaborating with our partners at Al Attar United.”
The new store will also showcase Azza Fahmy’s latest exclusive collection, which premiered at the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, further solidifying its presence in the Middle Eastern jewellery market.
Azza Fahmy Jewellery is a prominent Egyptian brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship and cultural story-telling. Azza Fahmy Jewellery has over 200 employees and operates 18 stores in five countries. Founded by Azza Fahmy, a pioneering designer in the jewellery industry, the brand emphasizes the fusion of traditional Egyptian artistry with modern design. With over 55 years of experience, Azza has developed a unique aesthetic that incorporates symbols and motifs inspired by Egypt’s rich heritage. Fahmy was the first woman to train in Egypt’s jewellery quarter, Khan El Khalili. In 2013, Fahmy founded ‘The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy’, in partnership with Alchimia, Contemporary Design School in Florence.
