Dubai's Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot pay homage to Abu Dhabi’s heritage with desert-inspired watch collection

Featuring camel leather straps, titanium craftsmanship, and diamond-studded designs, the limited-edition models show the Middle East’s growing prominence in luxury watchmaking and regional legacy

Abu Dhabi: Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot, a prominent player in the Middle East’s luxury jewellery sector, has partnered with leading regional jewellery and watch retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to launch two exclusive timepieces—the Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi 42mm and 33mm. These unique creations draw inspiration from Abu Dhabi’s deserts and dunes, celebrating the Emirate’s rich heritage while showcasing Hublot’s innovative craftsmanship.

The Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi Edition showcases sand-coloured camel leather straps, reflecting the majestic dunes that have defined the region’s landscape for centuries, inspired by the natural beauty of Abu Dhabi. The design honours camels, a symbol of strength and historical importance in Abu Dhabi, seamlessly merging innovation with tradition.

The 42mm model includes a satin-finished titanium case and bezel, powered by the HUB1110 self-winding movement with a 48-hour power reserve and 50-metre water resistance. The 33mm version, with 36 white diamonds on its bezel, is equipped with the HUB2912 Quartz movement, adding an elegant touch. Limited to 50 pieces each, these models cater to collectors seeking exceptional craftsmanship and a connection to Abu Dhabi’s heritage.

The Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi Edition represents more than fine watchmaking, it is a tribute to heritage, innovation, and the strong bond between Hublot and Abu Dhabi.

Hublot, founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, is a Swiss luxury watchmaker with a significant presence in the Middle East and Africa, including boutiques in Dubai, Kuwait, and Doha.

Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, with over 70 years of expertise, has built a strong reputation in luxury retail. Starting with its first boutique in Bur Dubai in 1950, the brand has expanded to over 40 boutiques across the UAE, offering more than 50 global luxury brands.

This partnership not only celebrates Abu Dhabi’s rich heritage through the Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi Edition but also elevates the gulf region’s status as a key player in the global luxury market.
