The collection symbolises resilience and grace, reflecting Al Saleh’s artistic interpretation of Emirati women’s identity

Dubai: Dusoul Jewellery has collaborated with Emirati artist Maisoon Al Saleh to mark Emirati Women’s Day 2025 with the launch of its new Raindrop collection. The initiative brings together jewellery and visual art, placing the spotlight on Emirati heritage and women’s contribution to the nation’s cultural identity.

Maisoon Al Saleh, recognised among Dubai’s Top 10 Artists by Times of Dubai, began her artistic journey at the age of eight. Over the years, she has participated in nearly 100 exhibitions across 21 countries, using her work to reflect on themes of resilience, history and Emirati identity. For the collaboration with Dusoul, she reimagined the UAE’s national flower, an emblem of endurance and grace in her painting.

The campaign highlights Al Saleh not only as a collaborator but also as a wearer of the Raindrop pieces, placing her at the centre of Dusoul’s celebration of Emirati Women’s Day. The brand emphasised that the collection is both a tribute to artistry and a gesture of recognition for women who preserve and carry forward the cultural legacy.

In statements surrounding the launch, Al Saleh described being an Emirati woman as “carrying strength with softness”, a message that underpins both her art and the jewellery she helped inspire. Dusoul framed this collaboration as part of its broader recognition of Emirati women who shape identity, preserve heritage and embody elegance.

This year marks the 50th Emirati Women’s Day, observed annually on August 28, following its establishment by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation. Dusoul’s campaign expresses gratitude to Her Highness for her leadership and vision, aligning the collection with national themes of empowerment and progress.

The Raindrop collection is available exclusively across Dusoul boutiques, offering customers a new line that merges jewellery craftsmanship with artistic interpretation. The launch underscores how regional brands are engaging with artists to create limited collections that tie design directly to cultural narratives.

The collaboration also reflects a trend where jewellery houses mark national occasions with special collections, aligning product launches with moments of cultural resonance. For Dusoul, the partnership with Al Saleh extends beyond product design into storytelling, using the campaign to project a message of heritage, creativity and women’s leadership in the Emirates.
