Kiara Jewellery Dubai begins its global journey with first international store in the Maldives

Maldives: Dubai-based fine jewellery brand Kiara Jewellery has taken its first step beyond the United Arab Emirates with the opening of its first international store in the Maldives. The new boutique opened on December 28, 2025 at JA Manafaru Island Resort and Spa, marking an important milestone in the brand’s journey.

The Maldives store becomes Kiara’s tenth location overall and its first outside the UAE. Located within the serene setting of JA Manafaru, a luxury private island resort, the boutique introduces Kiara to an international audience in an environment known for privacy, calm and refined luxury. The setting reflects the brand’s belief that jewellery is meant to be worn and treasured as part of everyday life rather than collected for occasional use.

For the founders, the decision to open in the Maldives was inspired by the destination itself. The islands are often associated with important life moments such as celebrations, new beginnings and personal milestones which align naturally with Kiara’s philosophy. The brand’s name, which means light, finds a deeper connection in the tranquil surroundings of the Maldives, where simplicity and emotion take centre-stage.

Speaking at the opening, Kiara Jewellery founders, mother and daughter duo Sonal Panday and Ada Panday, described the launch as the beginning of an exciting new journey. They emphasized that the expansion is a thoughtful step forward, allowing Kiara to grow globally while maintaining the scale, sensibility and values that have defined the brand since its inception.

The launch at JA Manafaru was marked by a quiet celebration attended by resort guests and brand well-wishers. Moments from the opening offered a first glimpse into Kiara’s new island home showcasing the brand’s signature aesthetic in a setting of natural beauty.
