Sharjah: Tribe Amrapali presented its heritage jewellery during an intimate, invitation-only cultural evening hosted by Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al-Qasimi, daughter of Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, at Bait Elowal, a visionary destination uniting culture, history and cuisine, founded by her. The presentation brought India’s celebrated jewellery craftsmanship into one of Sharjah’s most revered heritage spaces.

The evening was envisioned as a cultural presentation rather than a conventional retail launch, with jewellery showcased within the architectural and experiential setting of Bait Elowal. The gathering reflected a shared philosophy between the host and the brand, placing jewellery within a broader cultural and emotional context.

Speaking on the occasion, Tarang Arora, CEO of Amrapali, said, “We are grateful to Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al-Qasimi for her gracious invitation, and honoured to bring Tribe Amrapali to a space where culture truly breathes through architecture, through food and through the soul of this place.”

The jewellery presented carried Tribe Amrapali’s signature design language, rooted in Indian heritage craftsmanship while remaining contemporary and wearable. The carefully curated format encouraged guests to engage with the pieces in a relaxed manner, reinforcing the brand’s positioning beyond purely transactional retail.

Welcoming the brand to Bait Elowal, a two-story heritage house inspired by her journeys through Morocco, Persia, India, and Turkey, Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al-Qasimi said, “Welcoming Amrapali to Bait Elowal was a celebration of craftsmanship and living culture, expressed through Tribe Amrapali’s stunning heritage jewellery, story-telling and sense of place.”

From a retail and branding standpoint, the presentation signals how jewellery brands are rethinking international visibility. Instead of relying on rapid expansion or conventional promotional formats, heritage houses are increasingly choosing carefully curated cultural settings to introduce their work. Such moments create relevance and recall by allowing jewellery to be experienced within a wider narrative of place, history and human connection.

The evening also highlighted the longstanding cultural ties between India and the UAE, shaped by shared histories of trade, craft and artistic exchange. For Sharjah, the presentation aligns with the Emirate’s broader positioning as a cultural capital that values heritage, creativity and meaningful dialogue.

Tribe Amrapali is part of the Amrapali jewellery house and has built a strong retail presence across India, with stores in key cities and high footfall locations. Positioned as a contemporary extension of the brand’s heritage, Tribe Amrapali focuses on handcrafted jewellery that draws from traditional Indian craftsmanship while remaining accessible and relevant to modern consumers.
