Sharjah hosts 7th edition of Jewels of Emirates show, with participation of 500+ local and global brands

The show highlights Sharjah’s expanding influence in the global jewellery industry, while promoting innovation, luxury craftsmanship and cultural preservation
Sharjah: Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Authority, officially inaugurated the seventh edition of the Jewels of Emirates show in Sharjah on January 28, 2026.
Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition runs until February 1, 2026 and features more than 180 jewellery-makers and 500+ top local and global brands. The show presents collections of gold, silver, and diamond jewellery alongside gemstones, pearls, and luxury watches.Â
The 2026 edition of the show hosts within it the second Sharjah Pearls Exhibition, organised in collaboration with SCCI and Suwaidi Pearls and in strategic partnership with the Gemological Institute of America.
Following the inauguration, Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi toured the exhibition halls and met with Emirati exhibitors and designers participating under the ‘Emirati Goldsmiths’ platform, which supports Emirati designers by showcasing their creativity and connecting them with global markets.
He also visited the Sharjah Pearls Exhibition pavilion and was informed about its heritage and cultural programmes highlighting the UAE’s legacy in pearl diving and trade. The pavilion showcased some of Sharjah’s rarest natural pearls, along with jewellery sets crafted using premium Emirati pearls.
Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi said the Jewels of Emirates Show reflects Sharjah’s growing stature as a leading regional hub for gold and jewellery manufacturing and trade. He noted that the exhibition highlights Sharjah’s success in fostering a supportive environment that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and preservation of the UAE’s cultural identity. He added that continued support for specialized exhibitions attracts major global brands and creates opportunities for Emirati designers to strengthen their presence in local and international markets.
H.E Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Chairman of Expo Centre Sharjah, said the Jewels of Emirates show serves as a strategic platform that supports Sharjah’s position as a regional hub for the gold and jewellery industry. He also pointed to the Sharjah Pearls Exhibition as a key attraction that underscores efforts to preserve maritime heritage and support sustainable growth in the natural pearls and gemstones sector.
Spanning 12,000 square metres, the exhibition saw participation from the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, with pavilions representing Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand, India and Pakistan.
The exhibition also featured specialized goldsmithing workshops, heritage-style majlis gatherings, cultural evenings, interactive competitions, and valuable prizes, blending heritage, knowledge and entertainment.
