Bahrain Jewellery Centre ties up with Porsche and other brands to host ‘Driven by Balance’

The event took place at Moda Mall, Manama, and was attended by women from Bahrain’s wellness, entrepreneurial and creative communities
Manama: Bahrain Jewellery Centre recently partnered with Porsche Bahrain and other luxury brands to host ‘Driven by Balance’, a premium event designed to celebrate wellness and modern femininity through movement, connection and performance.
The word ‘jewellery’ already has a connotation of ‘luxury’ within it. The Bahrain Jewellery Centre aimed to expand this idea of luxury by no longer limiting the premium retail experience to the showroom.
The event took place on May 10, 2026 at Moda Mall, Manama where women from Bahrain’s wellness, entrepreneurial and creative communities were invited for a morning which centred around wellness and establishing meaningful connections.
During the event, guests were treated to a guided pilates session hosted by Purpose Studio. This was followed by an opportunity to drive across Manama in some of Porsche’s newest models. These models consisted of the Macan, Taycan, Cayenne and 718 Boxster. Guests were also given access to a piercing bar organized by the Bahrain Jewellery Centre in collaboration with Kismat by Milka. The piercing bar was an integral element in this event as it mirrored the broader theme of female empowerment and self-expression.
Rather than offering the traditional passive shopping experience, Bahrain Jewellery Centre sought to transform jewellery discovery into something more interactive and memorable. For the brand, collaborating with Porsche and Purpose Studio was a strategic move that added diversity in this premium experience.By merging luxury automobiles, wellness and other experienceswith jewellery, the brand was able to curate an immersive lifestyle experience tailor-made for its base of affluent female customers.
This collaboration showcases an evolving approach in the premium retail category where experiencing the product is just as important as purchasing it. By bringing together an unlikely yet complementary combination of automobiles, fitness and jewellery, the brand created an environment that extended beyond product showcasing, instead focusing on lifestyle and premium experiences.
The initiative reflects how premium retailers are increasingly using cross-industry partnerships to strengthen customer relationships and differentiate themselves in an evolving market.
Bahrain Jewellery Centre (BJC) is one of the Gulf’s most established luxury jewellery and watch retailers, founded in 1978 by the Shirazi family. It has evolved from a single boutique offering high-end European brands into a dominant multi-brand luxury retail network with 20+ boutiques across Bahrain, with additional presence in neighbouring markets like Saudi Arabia. The company also operates mono-brand boutiques for global maisons such as Bvlgari, Tiffany & Co. and Chopard through partnerships and franchise arrangements.
