Tajvi Gold and Diamonds hosts Annual Sports Day, bringing together staffers across all its locations

The event concluded with more than 150employees returning to work with a renewed sense of coordination and shared purpose
Dubai: Tajvi Gold and Diamonds recently organized its Annual Sports Day at Danube Sports World, bringing together more than 150 employees from its retail and head office teams. The event was structured to focus on physical activity, mental well-being and team participation, creating an opportunity for employees to engage outside the workplace.
The initiative was introduced in response to the need to maintain both physical and mental health within a work environment that requires sustained focus and performance. By creating a dedicated platform for employees to step away from routine responsibilities, the company aimed to support interaction, participation and team-building.
The event included a range of sports activities, with cricket matches forming a central part of the programme. These matches involved team coordination, planning and participation across departments. In addition, employees took part in badminton and table tennis, ensuring that the activities remained accessible and open to all participants. The format allowed employees to choose events based on their interest, contributing to wider involvement across teams.
Beyond the sports activities, the day functioned as a platform for employees to interact in a different setting, supporting communication and coordination among teams. The event also enabled employees from different functions to interact, contributing to stronger internal relationships and improved collaboration within the organization. Participation across teams indicated engagement with the initiative and reflected the company’s approach to employee involvement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Haneefa Thaha, Chairman of Tajvi Gold & Diamonds, stated that in demanding times, prioritizing employee well-being is not only an initiative but also a responsibility. He added that such events contribute to employee moraleand the development of a workforce that is prepared to respond to workplace requirements.
The Sports Day concluded with employees returning to work with a renewed sense of coordination and shared purpose. Tajvi Gold and Diamonds continues to focus on building a workplace structure that supports employee well-being, engagement and participation through organized internal programmes.
