To be held on February 27, 2024, at The Hyatt Regency, Deira, Dubai, the forum will see eminent experts dwell on emerging business trends, imperative retail transformations, and the role of technology in building Next-Gen jewellery retail business in the GCC region
Dubai: Themed Next-Gen retail, the 5th edition of The Retail Jeweller Dubai Forum will be held at The Hyatt Regency, Deira, Dubai, on February 27, 2024, and will see many eminent experts, stakeholders, and top jewellers of the Middle East and beyond indulge in a day of intense brainstorming and ground-breaking exchange of ideas on future trends in retail jewellery industry in the region and how to navigate a complex, evolving industry landscape.
Free from the shadow of the Covid pandemic in some earlier editions of the Forum, the event will be exceptional in scale this year. The participation of nearly 300 leading retail jewellers, industry professionals from across six GCC countries, and over 40 industry expert speakers sharing market insights, opinions and experiences lays a firm ground for collaborative and peer-to-peer knowledge-based learning.
The discussions and deliberations will be centred on disruptive business trends and success stories from retail jewellery businesses that are fearlessly leaping forward. A special opening panel involves young jewellers discussing fresh perspectives, innovative ways, and new approaches to business. Another highlight of the day will be a session on growing opportunities in diamonds and precious coloured gemstones in the Middle East.
The 5th edition of Retail Jeweller Dubai Forum is a milestone event in the region, as it will witness the launch of the precious coloured gemstone mine-to-market program by FURA Gems. Successfully launched in India last month, the FURA Celebration Sapphires program holds enormous potential for evolution in the retail business. It envisions offering its consumers traceable and responsibly sourced precious gemstones.
The event also shines a spotlight on India’s heritage jewellery from Jaipur, which is becoming a new profit centre for jewellers across the globe.
Some of the prominent panellists include Tawhid Abdullah, CEO Jawhara Jewellery; Annan Fakhreddin, CEO, Alfardan Jewellery; Theo Swart, CEO, Al Zain Jewellery; KP Abdul Salam, Vice Chairman, Malabar Gold & Diamonds; Nishith Shah, CEO, La Marquise Jewellery; Dev Shetty, CEO and Founder, FURA Gems; Mahesh Devji, Managing Director, Devji Aurum; Drishti Dhamani of Dhamani 1969; Arjun Dhanak, Director, Al Kanz Jewellery; Akshay Jethwani, Managing Partner, R&M Jewellers; Harshil Suru, Managing Director, Himat Jewellers; Narayanan Vaideeswaran, Head – Jewellery Division, Al Mana Group, Aditya Singh, Head International Business, Titan, among others.

The presenting partners for the event include FURA Gems, a leading global precious colour gemstones mining company; SGL Labs, a laboratory for testing and grading diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery; jewellery manufacturer Achal Jewels; and associate partner Suntech Business Solutions.
The Retail Jeweller Dubai Forum also lays the platform for acknowledging the achievements of retail jewellers across diverse retail, marketing and design realms within the jeweller industry in the GCC region under the banner of Retail Jeweller Middle East Awards 2024.
Talking about RJDF 2024, Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman, Dubai Jewellery Group, said, “The Retail Jeweller Dubai Forum can indeed play a crucial role in bringing together professionals from the jewellery and gem industry to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and address common challenges. Dubai, a major hub for the jewellery trade in the Middle East, provides an excellent setting for such an event. Participants can look forward to gaining valuable insights, forging new connections and finding inspiration for navigating the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
“We are excited about the steadily growing scale of the Retail Jeweller Dubai Forum. It reflects the progressive mindset of jewellers seeking retail transformation to modernise and organise businesses.
