Tajvi Gold & Diamonds opens new showroom near Union Metro Station, adding to Dubai network

The brand has completed its 10-store milestone in three years, and is now gearing up for a grand celebration of its three recent store launches

Dubai: Tajvi Gold & Diamonds has opened its newest showroom near Union Metro Station, adding a strategically positioned outlet to its growing network across Dubai. The launch follows recent store openings in Meena Bazaar and Muthina and aligns with the brand’s focus on expanding across accessible, high-traffic zones that cater to diverse customer groups.

The new outlet, located just outside Union Metro Station and positioned between Union and Al Ghurair Center, has been selected for its heavy commuter movement and strong pedestrian flow. With thousands using the interchange daily, the location provides the brand with immediate visibility and direct access to residents, office-goers and tourists. The brand currently operates only one showroom inside a metro station facility, the Gold Souk Metro Station branch, making Union its latest storefront in a transport-linked retail cluster without being inside the station itself.

Speaking to Retail Jeweller Middle East, Ebtisam Thaha, Marketing Director, Tajvi Gold & Diamonds, said, “The Union Metro Station showroom reinforces our focus on high-access retail. This location allows us to serve a daily commuter base while maintaining the same inventory depth our customers expect. It’s a strategic addition to our Dubai expansion plan.”

The new showroom features a consolidated selection of 18K and 21K gold jewellery curated for commuter-driven demand. Fast-selling categories such as earrings, bangles, chains, bracelets, rings and gold coins form the core assortment. The inventory strategy is designed around the purchasing patterns of Tajvi’s primary customer groups, South Asian residents including Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Filipino shoppers, who seek everyday-wear designs, quick-purchase gifts and traditional essentials.

The launch comes at a significant time for Tajvi, as the company completes its target of opening 10 showrooms in three years, a commitment set when the brand entered the market in October 2022.

Earlier this year, Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor inaugurated one of Tajvi’s new showrooms, bringing added visibility to the brand. All three outlets launched in 2025 were introduced through soft openings to ensure operational readiness and steady customer engagement. Tajvi is now planning a consolidated grand event to officially celebrate all three store launches together, marking the completion of its latest growth cycle.

Following the achievement of building a 10-store network within Dubai in just three years, Tajvi is now evaluating expansion opportunities in Abu Dhabi and eventually other GCC markets. The plans include demographic mapping, retail feasibility studies and assessment of transport-linked locations similar to its metro-centric strategy. Additional focus on community-driven promotions and targeted digital outreach will further strengthen visibility among expatriate residents.

Founded in 2022, Tajvi Gold & Diamonds has quickly built a strong retail presence across Dubai, expanding to 10 stores situated in prime shopping districts and commuter-dense locations.
